The Black August Pendant by Kenyda Black was created to capture that moment.

Sculpted in the iconic shape of Martha's Vineyard and brought to life in brilliant black diamonds, the pendant represents the beauty, power, and presence of Black culture that descends upon the island every August during the Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival.
